Last days home

Sunday was an emotional day when it hit us that we had 3 days left with our girl.  Mom had to snap a sacrament picture of all the kids home together.  This is the last sacrament together for 3 years.  Ug!  There might have been some tears shed.
We went to Grandpa and Grandma McKee's for dinner, and for Malena to say goodbye.

Packing up 18 months of clothes is stressful.  The paperwork said 10-12 skirts and dresses, Malena had about 25 cute outfits.  It was hard to weed a few out to get the suitcase weight under 25 lbs.  But we made it.
Blanket from mom and dad.  We will sure miss our girl, but this will give her a hug from us when she wraps up in it.
Malena had some fun with her last Mutual account days.  She did have a few guys answer that they weren't busy and could probably fall in love in one day.  :)
Haha, not really, but it was funny.
We went to the temple as a family.  It was such a sweet treat for mom to have all her kids together in the Temple.  And there might have been some tears shed.
And all of the sudden we had 24 hours before Malena goes to the MTC!!  and we realized how much more we had to get done, and how little time we had be spend together.  EEKKK
And her best friends started posting wonderful tributes to her.

Baker Family came to say goodbye...Kaiti came over later.  We sure love this family and the support they always give to whatever our kids are doing.
Malena was set apart as a missionary at 8:30 pm.   It was a sweet, wonderful prayer that was full of blessings and promises that she will have on her mission.  We are so proud of her and the choices she has made to get to this point.  We know she will thrive as a missionary in Fort Worth, and can't wait to hear about the experiences she has.
We took a last family picture in front of our house, since we'll be moving in the next 6 months.
There were a lot of firsts and lasts the last couple of days, and we are so happy that our whole family was here to experience it.  We love you, Malena!
